This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planner, purchasing officer, or graduate qualified in logistics or supply chain management to launch their career in production planning.  Mentored by a small team of experienced planners and reporting to the ERP Coordinator you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the production of finished goods to satisfy customer orders and warehouse replenishment needs.

Closing Date: Friday July 2, 2010

To succeed in this role you will require high level analytical & problem solving skills complemented by computer literacy in JD Edwards or similar ERP, Excel, Access and SQL.

Ideally you will have practical experience in:

•  Production planning and material planning principles;
•  Manufacturing processes for high volume FMCG;
•  Raw material procurement;
• Project management principals
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
