Method
- Heat oil, butter and garlic in pan, add veal steaks and cook on both sides until tender. Remove from pan, slice thinly and keep warm. Reserve oil mixture in pan.
- Cook pasta according to packet directions and drain.
- Re-heat oil mixture in pan, add onion, cook while stirring until soft.
- Add stock cube and water, bring to boil and simmer uncovered, until reduced by half.
- Add cream, shallots and cheese, stir until cheese has melted.
- Serve steak on pasta topped with sauce.
