Ingredients

San Remo Reg No121 Vegeroni Spirals 375g

425g tuna, drained and mashed
1/4 cup dry white wine
2 x 400g canned tomatoes, undrained and crushed
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp chilli powder
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 leeks, sliced
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp olive oil
200g fetta cheese, crumbled

Method

  1. Cook pasta according to directions and drain. Set aside.
  2. Heat oil and butter in a large pan.
  3. Add leeks, garlic and chilli to taste, then cook until leeks are soft.
  4. Heat oregano, tomatoes, wine and tuna. Bring to boil, then simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Blend pasta into tuna mix and spoon into a greased baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle with cheese and bake in a moderately hot oven for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is brown and the pasta is heated through.
