1. Cook the pasta according to packet directions.
  2. While the pasta is cooking bring together the sauce by placing the garlic cloves, lemon juice and olive oil into a food processor and process until smooth.
  3. Scoop the avocado out of its skin and add to the food processor along with the basil and salt and process until smooth and creamy.
  4. When pasta is cooked, drain and rinse in a strainer then place into a large bowl.
  5. Pour the sauce over the pasta while its still hot and toss until well combined.
  6. Garnish with lemon zest and black pepper. Serve immediately.
