1. Cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling salted water for 10-12 minutes or until al dente. Drain.
  2. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a saucepan, add garlic and chilli flakes and cook over medium heat until garlic is fragrant but not brown. Add chopped tomato and juices and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Add basil and calamari and cook a further 2-3 minutes until calamari is tender. Season to taste and toss sauce with pasta.
