  1. Heat oil in a medium pan, add onion and one half the garlic and cook until soft.
  2. With the remaining garlic divide into 4 equal amounts and place at one end of the steak. Repeat with the parsley. Then starting at the end of the steak with the garlic, roll up the steak and skewer with 3 or 4 tooth picks to hold together.
  3. When all steaks are done, add to hot oil and brown.
  4. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, salt and pepper (to taste). Bring to boil and simmer gently, covered, until sauce thickens, stir occasionally.
  5. Cook pasta according to directions, drain and toss with sauce.
  6. Serve hot with roll at side and sprinkled with parmesan cheese, (optional).
  7. Alternatively serve pasta and sauce as first course and roll up with green salad as a second course.
