Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan forced)
  2. Meatballs:
  3. Combine mince, ¼ bottle of pasta sauce, 10g mozzarella cheese, breadcrumbs, ½ tbsp parmesan cheese, basil, pepper, grated vegetables and 1 egg.  Mix until combined.
  4. Roll 2 tbsp of mixture into a ball, set aside, and repeat until no mixture remains
  5. Place meatballs onto baking sheet lined with non-stick paper.
  6. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes.
  7. Heat remaining sauce in pot.
  8. Cook pasta according to packet directions.
  9. To serve - Split the cooked pasta between 4 plates, top with meat balls. Garnish with sauce, remaining parmesan cheese and basil.
