Silvia Colloca

Silvia Colloca is a celebrated Italian-born food writer, television producer, and presenter. She has authored seven cookbooks, including Silvia’s Cucina, Made in Italy, La Dolce Vita, Love, Laugh, Bake!, and Simple Italian. Her most recent cookbook, Italian Family Food, was released in 2024. Silvia’s warm and engaging style has also made her a familiar face on television, hosting popular shows such as Channel Ten’s Silvia’s Italian Masterclass and SBS Food’s Cook Like an Italian—both series have been embraced by global audiences.

Silvia co-wrote, co-produced, and hosted the much-loved SBS series Made in Italy with Silvia Colloca, filmed on location in the stunning Le Marche and Abruzzo regions of Italy. The series earned her a 2015 TV WEEK LOGIE Award nomination for Best New Talent and a devoted following among food enthusiasts. In 2016, she co-wrote, co-produced, and hosted the ABC prime-time show Silvia’s Italian Table, further cementing her status as a trusted authority on Italian cuisine.

Beyond her culinary achievements, Silvia is a celebrated opera singer and versatile actress. In 2022, she produced her debut solo classical album with Universal Music, which topped the Classical Charts for over 20 weeks. She was also honoured to perform alongside Andrea Bocelli during his Sydney concert—a truly unforgettable experience.
