Method

  1. Into a pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta as per packet instructions.
  2. Drain and rinse the pasta in cold water until they are at room temperature.
  3. To make the dressing, place mayonnaise, vinegar, lemon juice, and garlic in a jar. Secure lid and shake vigorously to combine until smooth and creamy.
  4. To assemble salad, in a large mixing bowl, combine shredded lettuce, tomato, bacon, pasta, and onion.
  5. In a serving bowl arrange whole lettuce leaves on the outer side of the serving bowl. Place tossed salad in the centre of the bowl and top with sliced avocado.
  6. Drizzle with dressing and garnish with freshly cut chives and cracked black pepper.
  7. Serve and enjoy with friends and family!
