Method

  1. Cook the pasta and steam the halved broccoli florets on top.
  2. Dry pan fry the pine nuts and then blitz them in a blender together with the oil, spinach and basil leaves and lemon juice.
  3. Stir the steamed broccoli through the pesto and serve on top of the pasta or alternatively, stir the pasta through the broccoli and pesto.
