1. Blend pesto ingredients in a food processor until combined.
  2. Cook pasta according to the directions on the packet.
  3. In a hot fry pan add the oil and fry off the ham until slightly crispy.
  4. Once the pasta is cooked add to the fry pan with the ham, adding 2 spoons of the pasta cooking liquid.
  5. Combine the egg mixture and 2 tbsp of the Pesto, mix together thoroughly.
  6. Removes the frying pan from the heat and add the egg & pesto mixture, start mixing together straight away and continue mixing until the mixture coats the pasta. Do not return the pan to the heat.
  7. To serve, top with chives & toasted almonds.
