1. Cook the pasta and quinoa in some boiling water until the quinoa seeds have puffed and shown their ring. This may take a bit longer than 5 minutes.
  2. While the quinoa and pasta are cooking prepare the remainder of the ingredients. Grate the carrot, dice the cucumber and rinse and drain the chickpeas.
  3. Drain and rinse the quinoa and pasta once they are also ready and combine all the ingredients in one bowl.
  4. You can cool the pasta and quinoa to make this a cold salad too.
