1. Melt butter and lightly sauté mushrooms and ham until soft, then stir in cream.
  2. Season with salt and pepper and simmer for 2 minutes.
  3. Cook pasta according to packet directions. Drain.
  4. Blend mushrooms, ham and cream with pasta and stir gently over low heat for 1 – 2 minutes to heat through.
  5. Serve sprinkled generously with cheese.
