1. Into a pot of boiling salted water, add the pasta and cook as per packet directions. Drain reserving ½ cup of the pasta cooking water.
  2. Meanwhile, cook the broccoli and peas in a saucepan of boiling water for 2 mins until bright green and tender. Drain well and reserve some of the peas for serving.
  3. Place the broccoli-pea mixture in a food processor with the basil, garlic, almonds and Parmesan. Process until a coarse paste is formed.
  4. Add the olive oil and process until smooth and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add the pesto to a heated pan.
  6. Add the pasta and reserved cooking water and toss to combine.
  7. Divide among serving dishes and top with Parmesan, extra peas and basil.
